Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional player of the basket ball. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. Her name was chosen as the 5th overall selection in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale is a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. She has two brothers Mario (26 years young) as well as Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). The youngest sibling, she received the most attention from her parents. Her high school career included 73 games, 1,477 career points, and 739 career rebound. Ogunbowale has won gold at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships as well as the 2014 FIBA U17 world Championships as well as the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships. Ogunbowale was selected as one of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team 7 July 2014. Ogunbowale is also named for the ACC All-Freshman Team for her debut collegiate season.
