Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My wonderful husband JP, and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry are also part of our extended family. Most people are familiar with me from my Instagram @annephung where I document my life - highs, lows, and everything in between. In 1990, my family relocated to America. In the age of 1 and 1/4 I was accepted into my parents. Being aware of the possibility to have a brighter future, I worked hard to be their proudest and had tunnel vision for success. My plan of life was for me to go to university, get work in a corporate, marry and buy an apartment. My goal was to go to college, graduate and get an executive job. Then I'd get married to buy a home and start a family. However, life was not so sure. The money and the status of my position did not make me happy. I was convinced that I wasted my life for the opportunity to earn a salary. As I began to move to a new path in life I realized the importance of personal training and that's the career path I was looking for. I'm a sucker for exercise, enjoy being around people and helping them. In 2014, I founded my small company and I will celebrate the 7th anniversary of my company by 2021. It is rare to find Asian females working in the field. My goal is to be a positive influencer within the field to offer high-quality coaching that allows people to live a more healthy and happier individual by developing a sustainable lifestyle cater to their individual goals and needs. Additionally, I would like others to be empowered to follow their dreams and achieve anything they desire in their life. When my professional career began to take off, I had the most devastating loss of my life - my mom's loss of life. She has won the eight-year battle with the disease. Then she's in Heaven, and I remain close to her in my heart. It is possible to learn from our experiences, though we might not be able to recognize it right now. My Mom's passing changed me in so many ways and I am convinced that my mom offered me a second chance at life through her death. Her death occurred at the age of 87 on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. This was her moment to start her new journey. I had my second chance at living a happy and fulfilled life. In my 30s I am awestruck by the feeling of being alive and in the moment. I'm not feeling like I just exist anymore. My intention in the story I am sharing is to show you that you're not the only one. I would like you to be aware that love exists and that therapy is regular. Health is the most important asset you have. My hope is to live your life at its best and have no regrets when it comes to the end of your life. Death is our only guarantee in life.
